About Bumblebee Bobbins

Hi! I’m Charlotte—a lifelong maker, stitcher, and lover of all things crafty. I’ve been tangled up in threads and fabric since I was little, thanks to two aunts and a grandmother who always had something creative in their hands. Whether it was a bit of hand embroidery, a sewing project, or something entirely new, there was always magic happening—and I was hooked from the start.

I was born in France, where my love for beautiful fabrics and handmade treasures first took root. In 2009, I moved to Canada, bringing my needles, fabrics, and passion along with me. Now, fluent in both French and English, I get to share that creative spark with even more people.

Fast forward a few years (okay, maybe more than a few), and I’ve turned that childhood inspiration into something I’m so excited to share.

Bumblebee Bobbins is my happy place—and hopefully yours too! It’s all about creating a fun, welcoming space where kids and adults alike can learn to sew, embroider, and fall in love with fibre arts.
